About Mission 2540

Mission 2540 is a non-profit [501(c)3] apartment ministry based in Amarillo, Texas founded by Brooks Boyett in November 2004.  We minister to families living in low-income housing, and strive to meet their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.  We live out Matthew 25:40, reaching out to the “least of these.”  Through bible studies, resident assistance, and a variety of outreaches throughout the year, we introduce hurting kids and their families to the incredible grace of Jesus Christ.

We are only able to exist through the faithful giving of individuals.  If you would like to play a role in this ministry, email boyett@suddenlink.net or send a check to:

Brooks, I guess I missed helping with the backpacks and the blessings of the backpacks. :-( How did it go?

Wonderful story about Nique. I’m still trying to check out all the stories, etc. Been busy and now trying to see how the camp and everything went.
In His love and with mine,

  3. Hi. I LOVE your ministry. I am one of the founders of a small (but growing..) ministry called, “The Love Packet Ministry”. We make up “comfort bags” for children who are in crisis situations. Each packet contains: a stuffed animal, a juice box, an individual package of either cheese crackers or cookies, a Bible card (the most important item in the packet!), a folder with coloring pages and a pack of crayons. We were wondering if you could use some for the children you minister to in Eastridge. Right now, we have been blessed with many packets by different precious folks. You are welcome to as many as you can use. I clean for Diana Lane of Cityhurch on Wednesdays. All of you guys do such wonderful work for Jesus and the kids.
    God bless you!

    Brooks,
I saw a newsstory about your ministry and I AM EXCITED TO HELP!
I can apply my 8 years of local AISD Substitute Teaching, my 25 years of “being there” for my late girlfriend with my 46 years of Christian upbringing to your table.

I have also a 15 year-long Public Speaking experience (Toastmasters International) to bring to your endeavors.
I am a STAGE ACTOR with considerable acting training and experience, combined with my training in Broadcast announcing.

Inform me of where / when I can volunteer for your efforts – (please, after the snow-covered roads clear.)

May God Bless you and your energies!
    ~Charlie Castle – Amen.

Brooks, I would like your advise on a mission we help with, Prairie View Baptist Chapel. Also, my son in Dallas is wanting to send in a donation.
