We’ve been looking at Old Testament Families in our weekly kids Bible Studies. At Rose Plaza on Monday, we talked about Esau and Jacob and how Esau eventually forgave Jacob for stealing his birthright and blessing. I think it’s a great story. Either Jacquerious and Mil (pictured below) were enraptured by my story telling abilities or they were put to sleep by them.
We also played a fun relay race involving loading rocks one at a time into backpacks, making them heavier and heavier (thus illustrating how holding onto unforgivenss weighs us down – I know, deep, right?) Here are some fun pictures of that:
It really was fun, but the kids are ready for Summer Bible studies, because that means water balloons and getting wet, which is a lot more fun that carrying bags full of rocks
