We’ve been talking about Saul, Jonathan, and David over the last few weeks. A couple of weeks ago (yes, I should have posted this a couple of weeks ago), we talked about how God is the King of Kings, and, because we are his, we are sons and daughters of the King. To remind us of that, we made crowns out of gold posterboard. I never know what crafts are going to be hits, and what are going to be duds, but for some reason, the kids absolutely LOVED making crowns – even the 7th graders. Funny. Anyway, I snapped a few pictures.
Here are Adal, Cecillia, and Daniel at Rose Plaza, eating snacks while still wearing their crowns:
Here are Ben and Quinn out at NGV (and you can see one of the kids in the background leaving in her crown – I’m telling you, the kids loved these things).
