We had a great start to the year – the weather cooperated with us for the most part, we met some new kids, introduced some new volunteers to our kids, and as always, we had a blast hanging out and learning about God’s love for us
If you’re going to learn about how Jesus is the Good Shepherd and we are his sheep, you might as well make Sheep masks. The kids at Cathy’s Pointe thought these were pretty cool.
Every try to draw a self portrait with your eyes clothes? The Cypress Creek kids found it was difficult. And funny!
We’re thankful for volunteers like Adrianne at Plum Creek who help our kids feel special.
We actually had nice enough weather in January to be outside and play Jump the River at Spring Terrace. Of course, they would play Jump the River in the snow and freezing temps if we let them.
The boys at Glenwood take their crafts seriously. Here they’re making crowns on the week we talked about 8 year old King Josiah.
Speaking of Josiah, Paige let 8 year old Cesar be king of the North Grand Villas for a day. He was pretty excited to be in charge of the rules.
